Most of this information is collected directly from the Agricultural Ministries of all the COMESA states.

Harvests and agricultural markets monitoring, November 2009

Food commodity prices increased by 1% at the national level in November compared to October 2009, and
by 15 percent compared to November 2008.

The elementary net food price index increased by 1 percent between October and November 2009. Among other reasons, this stability is the result of the 2009C season harvest being sold on the market.
